I understand , I know that it has been a looooong time since I have posted anything. Well to make it quick my job position has changed I am at customer service(which now that I think of it I dont think I actually said anything about what I worked oh well.) Also I am just working weekends so I am a stay at home mom throught the week which is nice for all of us.
Anyway J (monkey boy) is another year older so he is five years old now and we are doing the HS thing full on. We are on the ninth lesson and we are learning about Water and the spirit water that Jesus gives us when we are saved. We also learn the science of water such as as a solid, gas and of course as a liquid. He is enjoying his lessons except if we interupt his routine then he has a problem. I am not one that believes in a routine but he is very particular.
E (peanut)is seven and he acts like his is 13 he is very much a smart butt. He will tell you when he feels you are wrong on something and if you have wronged him. He wants to be a bus driver since yes he goes to public school which is were J will go next year for kindergarten. He is absolutley in love with the fact a vehichle that big can drive so smooth and carry that many children and the person that drives the bus can stop a bus and just sit there till the kids listen. He is his fathers child......!
DH has gotten a new job and he is really liking it. It pays him better which is another reason I have lowered my hours at work. Which was a deal that we made long before I got my job. He has been doing the academy and officially started two days before christmas.
So today is christmas and the kids have enjoyed it. It has been snowing all day but we cant go outside to sled because the wind chill is so bad. We had to stay at the MIL house last night because there was no way we would of gotten snowed in and not been able to come here to spend time with the grandparents. I did work yesterday from 1pm to 6:30pm and you would not believe people at 5:59 people still wanted to come into the store to shop WHAT is up with that. DH worked as well but he worked a full shift he worked 7:30am to 3:30pm. We have enjoyed ourselves today and will continue to enjoy Jesus's birthday. I will end this by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY JESUS!!!!!

Well it has been awhile. Really however it has been boring around here. Peanut is in first grade and loves it. He rides the bus and thinks that is the most wonderful thing in the world. We are still redoing the house and have finally gotten the boys room totally finished. I still need to paint the kitchen and our room.
J or what I sometimes call him Monkey boy turned five yesterday and I am pretty sad about it. My baby is getting sooo big. We are homeschooling him for preschool and loves it. He is really retaining all the information that we are teaching him as well. We are learning the numbers based on the creation story (which I got from a book known as My Fathers World.
I am moving up in my job. I am know at customer service which is ok but that also means more time at work so that is the biggest problem with me trying to go back to school as well.
Like I said we are boreing sorry( oh by the way it is a good thing we are HS'ing for preschool and not into spelling yet hehehe! )
Well that is all we have so far to talk about maybe we will have more later sorry to all those following.

July 4th
Well yesterday was great. It was the birthday of our nation. A nation that is right now still fighting a war that some may feel is unnecessary. I will not comment on what I feel as far as this war is concerned that is not what this blog I have started is all about. What I will say is that this war does have me thinking especially with so many still over there that we take things for granted. We take the fact that we can wake up and make decisions everyday without thinking about what will happen to us for those decisions except how it would effect what we eat what job we have or if our family will be better off which are all good things to think about when making a grand decision. Most of us don't think about what our government will think of us if we wear a short sleeve shirt or put our hair down or even Shock to pick up the Bible and read it!!!!! But all over the world there are places that you can not show your elbows or your hair and reading a Bible will get your fingers cut off or even worse death will come to you. When I think about this pride is in my heart that I had a husband, a father, an uncle and even a father in law and know a brother in law that is fighting or has fought to make this land that I live in free for me to be able to do the things that we do everyday without thinking. With all this freedom sacrifices have been made.
Sacrifices have been made in this great country but it started even before the first group of people got here. Jesus himself sacrificed for us before we even thought about America before we were even a glimmer in our parents eye and they were in their parents and so on and so forth. Jesus sacrificed himself for us to live in peace and freedom wherever we may live it didn't matter if we were in Afghanistan or Iraq getting killed for our religion or not we are free with him. When the first settlers landed in this new world they were leaving their country and sacrificed the lives and family that they left behind in order to live as they wanted without fear or giving in to what others wanted. Then the Revolutionary war, the war of 1812 sacrificed men, children and even women to be once and for all free of the persecution of England. Then the civil war so that truly all men; black or white shall be free. Then WWI and WWII was war to give freedom and to insure our freedom would not be taken by any political party. WWII also showed us that there were still monsters out there that did not believe that one certain group that should be free and we were there to show that America is free and that we will insure that those people deserved the freedom to believe as they did. Also that people should not die for there heritage or their religious beliefs. Then Korea happened which was the war against communism that sparked the Vietnam war as well which sacrificed many of our military men and women. Then in the Desert storm war we again were faced with a man that believed that he was Gods messenger and that those that believed in freedom should no longer exist and insisted on killing his own people that got in his way. 9-11 happened and effected us on American soil and we knew all to well that even thought we had freedom if someone wanted to bad enough and had help it could be taken away all to quickly. We now in a way have lost some freedom no longer can a airplane trip be easy we are inspected and all get a list of things that we can no longer take on a plane because a group wanted to show us that capitalism and our religion were not going to be taken lightly in the middle east and that people that believed in Jesus Christ as the son of God should no longer exist. ( Ya know Jesus Christ the one that sacrificed himself so that we would be free to worship him and to wash away our sins.) Then the same man that in Desert storm tried to hurt us and killed his own people decided that was not enough and started threatening Americans and started killing more of his people. If you look back in history Americans waited to long for the Jewish people in WWII and that was wrong we did not want to do that with these people that would be inhumane and we would of been no better off then the mad man we were all disgusted about. Do we still need to be in this war since the mad man is dead that is not for me to decide that is up to your personal beliefs. That is what is so great about this country we have the right to our opinion.
From the king of England that would have people beheaded if something in the paper was written bad about him to the Enquire know that says smut about everyone that is even slightly famous we see the freedom in this country. I truly understand that protesters are given a bad name in every country including sometimes this one but without protesters we would not be a country. It took protesting to get the Revolutionary war started, to get the civil war started, to free the slaves and make them free, to give women freedom, to insure that black Americans were not only free but had rights, to women the right to finally vote, to give Hispanics freedom in America, to give Japanese Americans freedom (ie.WWII period). There have been many protesters out there that truly believe in what they are doing such as Pro life, Pro choice, Against the wars, and for the wars. There is also protesters that no one really wants to discuss but we all have to realize that even with freedom in the worldly since we will have bad and good. I have the choice in this blog not to post those for it disgust me that some people use this freedom in this country to hurt others and to be small minded and belittle those that they do not understand.
Fourth of July is a wonderful time to remember all that this young nation has gone throught and to really realize that while we might not all agree on what goes on in this country we can agree that this country has survived by the sacrifice of so many in this nation. Thanks for anyone that reads this. This was an emotional blog post.

Wednesday
Well I am half way through watching the dogs and taking care of the house for my inlaws while they are on vacation. This last week has been busy with me getting the house done well ....... to be honest it was and has been busy for my DH. He has been doing more in the house then I have. Their is only one thing time consuming for me this last week, Laundry. Yep you would not think so with the technology today but if you look at it from a different perspective we have not really made anything as far as laundry is concerned that is convienient. When we didnt have a washing machine or a dryer we had less clothes am I right. Come on noone wants to take the time to hand wash as many clothes as we do know. This lowers our pocket books with alot more then it did then when women had three dresses two for chores and one for church in the summer and the same amount in the winter. Know we have books and magazines that show us how to enlarge our closets or to find places for all of our clothes that we have to have. But I am going off on a tagent that I should really stop really.
Laundry for me is taking awhile because A. I have no dryer and B. It has been raining every other day of the week if not a sprinkle everyday. It would be one thing if it only rained because a little rain will soften the clothes but with this rain there has been lots of wind which of course takes the clothes off the line before I want them to. So I have four to five more loads of laundry that needs to be done and lo and behold it is raining today again. AWWWWWW!
Anyway, The boys did play a little while in the pool today and yesterday. They have also really loved the sprinkler. Ava is warming up to the house it only took three weeks not three days as everyone else suggested. Our yard is coming together and our new front porch will be built on friday thank God! Also on a important note for me not anyone else but me I guess according to the rest of the family is that my compost is really starting to do its thing. I am in a major need of a pitch fork or rake something to turn it over since we are already starting to get wet soggy stuff at the bottom Yeah!! I will have good compost in time for next years garden already. That so far is what has been going on in my life.
Thanks to anyone that reads this.... sorry my life is not exciting but it is just that my wonderful and to me exciting life with my DH, My two boys and our dog Ava.

Well I havent written a new entry in a looong time. I have been without internet since we moved. I will get pictures for everyone what the house looks like now since we have started remodeling the house. The boys wanted red like in the Disney movie Cars. So that is what they got but of course it took two coats of paint in order to do it. Then we painted to living/ dining room combination area a really light blue and the bottom half of the walls a white color. We laid new floor and it turned out better then we thought. We have to put a front deck on the house since the deck that was there is already falling apart. The people before us didnt know how to take care of anything I think oh well. Anyway the kids are soooo excited because the back yard is big enought to have our dog Ava in and a nice size pool for the kids and us to atleast cool off in the summer heat.
Unfortunatly with the weather this summer they have yet to be able to get into the pool. Also our plans of a garden were short lived since we got there so late in the year and we have no money for a tiller and dont know anyone that can till it or plow it as I have been told with how big we want it and the fact it hasnt been tilled in a looooong time like 6 years or so that we might have to plow it. Anyway that will have to be next year. I will keep everyone updated with what is going on in this area of the world more often but I have to get to my MIL house more often since that is the only place I can get online we still have no internet out where we live.
Anyway I am still going strong as a vegetarian and couldnt be more happy about my decision to be one. I have met more people that are also vegetarians and am so excited that I am not the only one in this area. I have found that alot more grocery stores are getting into the vegetarian circles if you will and even the vegan circles as well but there is one that I still have a huge problem with they have the smallest vegetarian /vegan area in their store and I am sure we all know which store that is. well if you dont it is Wal-mart. I can not believe that they dont have a vegetarian or vegan section when they scream that they have everything that one person needs. Well..... only if you are a meat eating person or you dont mind animals dying for clothing and such oh an you like not american made products. I will tell you that my family does still shop their but not by choice that is the only thing with the economy the way it is that one can afford and still feed their family. I do however shop for food at other stores that are more animal friendly and earth friendly. We dont have a Kmart here we have a Dollar General and Dollar tree but lets face it they are even worse with there chemical laden products that you can actually smell coming off the clothes.
Well ..... sorry for the soap box will post more later hopefully I will have pictures as well.

Started moving stuff
Well the subject line pretty much says it. We moved all of our stuff or should I say STUFF from storage into our home and we are putting it in the proper rooms now. We got our bed up and are washing all the clothes as they have been in storage for a year so they do not smell that great. I am getting my kitchen in order as well. We are also going through the stuff and getting rid of stuff. We are also donating alot of kitchen appliances that we got because we thought we needed them but we never use them to the church garage sale. The garage sale sells items to get school supplies for the kids in the nieghborhood for the next school year. My sister gave me a stove, a dishwasher and a refrigerator just in case those appliances did not work in this house and the stove and dishwasher do work so they are going in the sale as well. While I understand the most we will get is 50 dollars I am ok with that since we will be giving the money for a good cause.
Tomorrow I work from 9-2 and on Tuesday as well. Then on Wednesday it is putting more stuff up and then Thursday I start to paint the boys room. I hope to have pictures then since I will have found my camera by then (cross fingers). Oh and on Wednesday I will be packing the stuff we have at the inlaws and bringing it to the new house. We are hoping to be all moved in by next Tuesday since Dh doesnt work Friday night. We will be staying over there Tuesday night since peanut will be out of school after Tuesday.
This last weekend has been pretty exciting for other reasons as well. My sister in law graduated from highschool and had her graduation party. It was fun to see highschool hadnt changed much since I was in school 11 years ago. Yep, I am old. Anyway then she went to her Senior all night party which she had fun at. Then we went to church today and that to me is always fun. I really love our church.
well That is all for know. We are going to go to a movie just us ladies while the boys stay here with the other adults of the family. ( I use the term loosley since well they are guys heheheh just kidding). Anyway to any followers or just readers I know this post was boring but nothing is really going on this last week except unpacking and being bored and a little stressed. I hope you enjoy the boring weeks as well as the weeks we do lots of interesting stuff such as in two weeks we should be going to visit the amish community so sorry there will be no pics but lots of post. May I will get a pic of them with a cow or two in their amish hats that we get them. Or when my mom comes up we are supposed to go to a indian pow wow and we might get pics of that but wanted to say even when we are boring we do have some crazy stuff happen I just forget them before I can post it. ..... note to self right it down!!!!

Yesterday
Yesterday I turned 29 wow big deal....... well it is a pretty big deal when your own mom forgets that that is the day you were born and doesnt even call you all day. It is crappy. oh well. Monkey boy was anything but an angel yesterday too. He decided that yesterday was the day to hit the dog. Then he proceeded not to listen and yell and scream. Then when it was time to eat dinner he decided that yesterday was the day he didnt like spaghetti. So he was put to bed early. Well then he decided to take a pen and write all over himself. I was starting a new series of classes and today had to cancel them because the stress level of us moving and all is to much right now. Since we are basically renovating the house before we move in. But it will be less stress and we will have internet out there when I am to start the next round of classes. I have been going the whole time since July and I can feel myself get burned out and need this break to recooperate. I know it may sound like an excuse but I am physically, emotionally and spiritually tired and need this break to recharge my batteries. I dont want school to take away from my life as a wife and a mom and a child of christ and could feel that with the stress level creeping up all the time that it was starting to effect all the areas of my life. It will only push my graduation date back a month so I am ok with that. Just wanted to share the days in the life of me...... oh and as soon as I find my camera I will post pics of the zoo even thought they are old news I think everyone might enjoy them.

Alot has happend
Alot has happend since I last blogged. We are finally cleaning and remodeling the new house before we move in. We have some of the floor laid out. We had to pull up the carpet and bleach the walls. We also had to pull all the blinds down. THe house was sooooo bad the kids are not allowed in the house till the floor is laid down and one more bleaching of the walls is complete. I cant believe how some people have lived. We got the house because my sister had it and she moved to NC and had rented it out but we had 3+ acres of land that is in our family. I didnt want to lose that because my kids could have that when they get older and we move on. We want to start gardening and we want to get some chickens and start our own little plot of land that will take care of us for awhile. I am a vegetarian so the chickens would be for eggs only and they would be cage free they would be able to roam where ever they wanted to in their little plot of yard. We are really excited but we have to get this house done first.
Another thing that has happend is after 12 years I made contact with my Father. We have talked and it was civil even thought in the past there was alot of hurt feelings floating in the air. I really feel that God has had me grow up and in order to do that I have to forgive the one person on earth that had hurt me so much for so long. I will be turning 29 this Thursday and it is time for me to get on with my life. I am really excited about how this will form my life from know on. I called him first but he has called me two times since then and this last time he actually wished me a happy birthday and told me he loved me. I havent heard that come from him in 12 years. He has never seen my boys and really wants to see them. However I will stay a little cautious to see if he actually follows through I am remaining a little cautious from past expeirience. (I still have alot of growing still to do and with Gods help maybe.... no I am sure I will grow up).
My boys are growing like weeds. We just got new pants for peanut just 3 weeks ago which is the 5th time this year we have had to get new pants for him. of course some of that is because well ..... he is a boy and anyone that has boys knows that they are hard on everything. Monkey is getting bigger too he had to get new pants too because of the same reason but he is growing at a slower rate. It is ok he will be like me short but we short people have our positives as well.
Again back to the house..... I am going to be really excited when I can finally hang out my laundry. Some may give me a look like why the heck in this day in age with Dryers would you want to put out laundry. Well anyone that knows me at all knows that I am pretty green. I love the smell of sun dried laundry and not to mention that electric is so high anyway. The windows will be open and limited air conditionin will be used. I am all for letting the kids play outside and not watching as much t.v. ! As a matter of fact T.V. will be off limits for all day until it gets dark or it is raining hard outside. One child hood memory that I have is running barefoot in the grass in a light warm rain. I hated being in the house in the summer. My dh works at night but he is off during the day so we will spend alot of time hiking and fishing he will be fishing I will be enjoying a good book watching the kids fish with Daddy. (they are not vegetarians so what they do is ok but we dont eat the fish it is strictly catch and release for the boys Daddy is a different story if he cleans it cooks it he can eat it.) Anyway that is my blog for today. I will try to blog more this week but tomorrow will be a busy day as will Tuesday as we will be putting in the floor and painting the walls of the living room and the boys room hopefully I will have pics of that Wednesday to post our progress for everyone.
Enjoy the rest of your sunday afternoon me and the boys are going to enjoy the breeze of the afternoon in the hamock without shoes. (yep we are pretty much a barefoot family)

It has been awhile
I have no new pictures to post but will say that I am trully sorry for those that may follow this blog in the future.
It has been awhile but we have done things I promise. We went to the zoo and will post pics later from that. It was wonderful the boys had a blast and really loved that the zoo has so many animals. Peanut loved the penguins and the zebra. Monkey boy was a little scared of the apes and the monkeys but loved the reptiles because they look like dinosaurs and he loved the Giraffes. They got to go to the gift shop and got the animals they wanted and Peanut suprised me because he got a fox not a penguin or a zebra but that is what he does and that is what I love about him even more.
Peanut was supposed to go to the planetarium where I was supposed to chaperone. They cancelled it which was horrible but a God sent too because I was sooo sick. He is however going to preform at what is known as a mothers Tea this may and I will have pics to post about that as well.
Work has been hectic because they are cutting my hours. I have gone from 28 hours to 16 in a week. It is crazy but atleast I get to be with my kids. I wanted to stay a stay at home mom and this is one way to get the best of both worlds right.
I am still in school and Dh is in school as well he started two weeks ago and will end these classes when I end my five and a half week classes. This week has ben really scary and fast paced more so this time because since I was sick I was late on a couple assignements but handed them in Monday and had two more due on Tuesday so I handed in three assignements on Monday and then one on Tuesday.
Needless to say really busy. However all this time has taught me just how wonderful kids are. We have been so busy but the kids have just taken it all in stride with a smile on there face and if they can go outside and get fresh air they are extremely happy.
Oh almost forgot..... We did Lent (dont know if I mentioned this before) and we gave up chocolate as a family but I also gave up meat. Loved giving up meat so much that I am sticking with bieng a vegetarian. I still feel wonderful and still feel that my body has always needed this change.
Well so now anyone reading this is up to date and will try to be better at keeping everyone up to date.
oh one more thing before I go. We should be moving May 15 if everything goes well. We have finally got a move in date. Yeah!!! So we are excited and I am because I will have my own house were I can put my stuff were I want it and clean how I like to clean. Anyone that has lived with someone else knows what I mean. I love being here but I cant wait to actually do my own thing and to connect with Dh without worrying about everyone else. Anyway just thought I would tell everyone the update on the house news.

pretty day

Today was wonderful. I worked only four hours awwww..... ! I went to work early only so that I could go in with a better attitude. I went to starbucks and got a cinnamon caramel something or other ( why do they have to make the names so hard to remember. Anyway I got my blueberry muffin and went to work. I got there twenty minutes early but I could go slow about starting my day.
It was inventory so we were kindof just finding jobs to do. I got to put patio furniture together which was great actually it says to me spring is almost here and summer is just around the corner. Love it...
Came home and wow it was so pretty outside that the boys played outside. They played boat ride (they made it up using sleds as boats)
it looked as though they had lots of fun today. They were having so much fun they didnt want to come in so mommy of course said that they could stay outside. They love the outdoors. I am sooo glad for that. With this day and age of having video games and computers it is hard to get some kids out and play. My boys would rather be outside with nothing but sticks, sleds, and there imagination then anything else.

I have to give everyone a glimpse at there imagination for just a little while. I have made a game up for them to play that is the nites they play like they are in King Arthur's day and they can go on tires in the back yard as there horses. I let them do that cause I am very against guns. I know what some are thinking they have swords though. I am just this way about it. I don't like guns at all I think it is awful to give a kid a toy gun and not expect them to kill people they are around. (faking of course) Swords to me are a different story with swords those real nites had to get close and personal they had to judge whether killing this person was worth it. The boys will go afterimaginarydragons and yep they will sword fight but they say they have to practice so that they can kill the mean dragons. They use there imaginations to kill imaginary fictional characters like dragons. I am sorry if this play sounds weird but I have tried to keep all dangerous toys away from them even when D was in the Marine Corps which may I add was hard for D to do as he would talk about his work to vent. Anyway I wanted to share some pics. I think they are cute.

Crazy Day
Today was awful.... My husband comes home as I am in the last seconds of getting ready for work. He literaly gives me a kiss as I head out the door. I worked 9 hours today on inventory and didnt get to see my lovely boys but for three hours before they go to bed. .......Ok maybe I should give you a brief ...ok long history of our family.
my husband hating his picture taken!!!!
I am a wife to a wonderful man that has always put us before what he wants. He was in the Marine Corps for 8 years four of which he stayed only becuae we found out we were pregnant with # 2. He has gone overseeas 5 times and once volunteered because he thought it would get him rank faster which means more money for our family (sadly it did not). He got out this past september. We have two boys Peanut (our oldest) and Monkey (of course our youngest). My husband (who will be known as D) is the sweetest guy. He said to me the day he got out. I hate to ask you to do this but with the economy the way it is and with this war dragging on (though he says for a cause ..... I tent to disagree but that is a issue we can agree to diagree on) he had always hated knowing he was going to ask this question, If I would go back to work. See we had decided that once I had kids I would be a stay at home mom till they were in school and then I would get a job that gauranteed me be off work by the time they got home.
I of course hated it and tried to fight it all the way even though I knew I had to help. I did get a job and it is ok but it isnt something I loooove like I did bieng with my kids. He got a job shortly after me and it is working at night (it pays alot more then mine and it has insurance). I know he would love to be home at night with us but he knows that he needs to support us as my job would not support me alone.
Peanut loves to snuggle.
Anyway that is why we were meeting each other on the way out today and on his way in. I hate it because I dont get to see my monkey at all. I spend all day at work and get home and when I first started working the boys would run up to me smother me with kisses and yell yeah mommy is home. With smiles and kisses aimed and ready for mommy to recieve and give back. We would also sit down and talk about our day. Now I have to yell that I am home and I may get a hey mom. I dont see peanut that often either but most of that is cause he is in school (which is another issue altogether since I wanted to homeschool the boys).
Monkey loves the camera (those are his uncles in the background)
It is hard because I dont get to see them and I miss that. I see so many people come into my work with their kids around my boys age and it is heart breaking. Anyway the purpose of this blog is to give everyone a piece of my life and to show other moms that are working and maybe feel the way I do that they are not the only ones and maybe we can help each other. It is hard but we will push through. Also even though the boys just say hey I do still put them to bed and get showered with kisses hugs and we will still go outside and play and get muddy and get tired from playing baseball or catch or even just running around going nuts. Monkey boy the other day played soccer with me so that made me feel good to share something I looooove with him. Oh and to all those that are scarred no I probably will not be one of those soccer moms. Thanks anyone that has read this blog. It is the first posting I promise I will get better.
